A self-directed project creating a brand identity and retail space for a Spanish patisserie located in the centre of Reading. Outputs include a pitch document, collateral items, a social media presence, and a website proposal. It was important to create something that ensured that the patisserie stood out in the constantly evolving town of Reading. To ensure this, I highlighted the unique selling point of the brand. This is the only organisation in Reading that specialises in Spanish cuisine. To portray and emphasise this the image of a bull, traditional typography, and a Spanish name have been used.
Throughout the duration of this project I gained a range of invaluable skills including how to successfully manage a self-directed project, how to create a professional pitch document, how to use a range of research to inform my design decisions, and how to create an exciting and unique brand image to engage with the intended audience.
