The Platform is a paid online streaming service dedicated to telling the stories that matter — the taboo ones. The tricky, thorny, uncomfortable ones. The ones that challenge the status quo and have the power to genuinely impact lives. My task was to develop a bold, emotionally-charged brand identity that would reflect this purpose and resonate with a diverse, socially conscious audience.

Visual Identity
I developed a bold visual language that embodies The Platform’s mission to tell raw, challenging stories. The design leans into strong contrast, repetition, and documentary-style imagery, creating a sense of urgency and authenticity.
A dark, cinematic colour palette anchors the identity, with rich shades of brown conveying depth and seriousness. These tones are punctuated by vibrant pinks and oranges, which add energy and emotional charge, reflecting the tension and impact of the stories being told.
